I haven't had cheese and crackers today but I have some in my fridge. I will eat them next week in your honour. I always loved debug mode as a kid. I could mess around there for ages and not get bored. Same goes for debug modes in other games. Some games even have areas designed to be debug rooms such as Final Fantasy VII.

I only found out about "Ashura" after I got the internet. Spamming the waterfall must do some sort of memory leak and corrupts the palette.

It took me the best part of 29 years to work out that the code 19 65 09 17 was a reference to creator Yuji Naka's birthday (17th September 1965).

@@GameMistress it means demon in japanese, it was discovered by charles mug, and he named it ashura there were also alot of fangames of ashura, even fan art it even affects some other stuff, like eggman and the robots this only works on emerald hill, and it dosent work on the 2013 remake, since its been fixed

It is a fan given name by the sonic fandom and I also know it was a meme. In reality its just a glitch caused by the waterfall spam sprite. If people don't understand the fake names i gave Sonic's sprite colour change was a joke than that's on them.
