Thank you for the beautiful, sincere and heartfelt telling of this profound story of a sin-covering eye, and that the Cause of God is unstoppable, even should its adversaries combine to assist one another. The price of free will is that we are accountable for our choices. I wonder if Abdu'l-Baha was distraught, in part, because he knew the fate of such souls.

Alláh-u-Abhá, Tom! I'm so happy to have found your brilliant writing. Recently, I read _Persian Passion_ and _Old Wives Tales._ I've recommended your books to others. It took me a long time to get through _Persian Passion,_ and I'm hoping the other two books I heard you were going to write continuing the story will be available soon.

I questions whether this was Abdul Baha's decision -- not to pursue the suitcases -- in an effort at unity [which already did not exist]. Because He also said "there's nothing you can do with a liar." And that's more to the fact of how these people behaved. They were beyond any moral sensibility and someone of the character of Abdul Baha wouldn't choose to wrangle with Covenant Breakers.

The British Museum was given a large collection of Baha’u’llah’s writings. Some scholars who know about these things think it’s very possible these writings came from those satchels.

Let's hope those scholars are right. It would be quite wonderful if they finally ended up in such a prestigious place where they wouldn't be damaged or abused.

Often wondered, if the grounds around the Holy Land were checked for a hiding place, in the Attic or underground, (with metal detection), or G.P.R. methods? Cases of Bahá'u'lláh surly demand a respectful search, for. Yá Bahá'u'lláh Abhá Thanks, very profound story!💜🙏

Years later the Covenant breakers donated some of these papers to the British Museum whose curator asked Moojan Momen to assess them. He, in turn, made copies for the Universal House of Justice (according to Hooper Dunbar; see kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHSsXnSXqq6Siqc, minutes 8:30-9:45)

If this story is true, I wonder why had Abdu'l-Baha all these doubts and fears? I would assume that he would be absolutely certain that the will of God will manifest. Perhaps I miss some point.

"Tablet of One Thousand Verses" (Lawh-i-Hizar Bayti), not yet translated into English, is referred to in Taherzadeh's "Covenant of Baha'u'llah" p. 148
