@@IanThatMetalBassist Well its this. Most "libertarian democrats" best I can phrase it but meaning people who are socially liberal and believe you should be able to marry who you want and do what you want but still agree with individual accountability. Most of them didnt want the destruction of the other side but simply to coexist with them "you do your thing Ill do mine" kind of thinking. And they where the MAJORITY on the left throughout the 80-90-early 2000s. THEN the Leftist Neo Marxists came to prominence and power. Thats when those towards the middle on the left realized that their party had their own "batshit crazies" just as much as the right had theirs. My dad always phrased the opposing fringes of the two major parties/ways of thinking as "The Loony Left and The Righteous Right". Cause many times the logic of the left seemed right out of a Looney Toons cartoon and the right thought they where Righteous and ordained by god to keep things certain ways.

@@keithfilibeck2390 Part of the tragedy of this situation is that it's not entirely Sam Brenton's fault, Sam is just doing what he's being incentivised to do. Alan Turing was a once in a generation prodigy, a war hero, who pioneered new science and new tech that is still shaping the world to this day, and for helping to win a war, fighting Nazis, saving lives, and pioneering new science and tech, and the world turned it's back on Alan Turing for being caught with his pants down once. Sam is doing what his cathedral demands of him, and Sam is being rewarded with wealth, status, and praise for it. When push comes to shove, it's just plain irrational to not act in our individual best interest, especially when living an honorable, virtuous, and heroic life just gets you shat on and killed like it did to Alan Turing. Alan Turing was literally cancelled by the world for being gay. So that's why gay activists/SJWs are so gross and obnoxious, because obnoxious grossness is incentivised while virtue and integrity is punished.

I got excluded from ""the community"" a few years ago due to being a gay guy with reasonably traditional ideas about dating and relationships. And I was happy to be ostracized in a sense, because it meant I had license to separate myself from the utter hatred of that community - the hate I received for being "fake gay" or "-ist-o-phobic" for not proselytizing all of the degenerate things I didn't want to be around and immutable characteristics like my race, and the hatred I saw the community direct at everyone who is not the same as them. It's fine to be gay, but if people are just loud and angry heterophobic anti-monogamists, then they're being exactly the things they were being persecuted by a few decades back.

@IanThatMetalBassist

It's because these people are shallow and lacking depth. Their existence revolves around how other people perceive them and they must be the center of attention at all times to feel like they have any self worth. Hence neopronouns, open displays of kink, etc. Anything for shock value and to get people talking about them. You get desensitized to vanilla stuff so you'll seek something more hardcore to get that aroused reaction. You see this all the time with porn addicts. You either A) move past the shitty points in life to make a better one or B) let those points DEFINE who you are and let them control your actions after. Britons parents actions dont FORCE him to act the way he does, he does it out of a simple old eternal feeling we all have, Revenge. He was hurt, to the point of feeling life wasnt worth living. So he now does things and acts in ways the he knows hurts those who hurt him as much as they hurt him in the past. Briton lets the wrongs done against him define and direct his current actions as opposed to proving his parents wrong by letting his actual achievements define who he is. And in that he proves his parents right in the process.

His parents made him go through conversion therapy, he then later says getting married was the biggest fuck you to said therapy. Its meaning its a big fuck you mom and dad for not loving me for who I am. He COULD of phrased it in a loving and affirming way, like saying hes found the peace acceptance and love that he has never found before. The aggressive language says it all. Why is the increasing number of "gender non-binary" people increasingly lacking in any privacy of their lives? On top of that, I am seeing that this guy dealt with a lot of problems and copes by living so absurdly from what his family had tried to be rid of. I can understand trying to stop the suffering he endured, but his method of "Be out and hide NOTHING" is a double edged sword. Nothing is becoming exclusive or retained, he lives absurdly with a self-gratification that he's getting back at his family and the conversion therapy that harmed him. But his life is now consumed by the trauma and the singular aspect of his character of being gay is his entire personality. Regardless of his credentials, he's an absolutely hollow shell of a man who cannot be described as anything else than Gay. As awful as it sounds, I don't see his marriage lasting very long if he continues to live in such a way. Nothing he has is sacred or private between him and his husband. “They/them” pronouns exist in the English language, but not in the way it’s used by the letter people. Pronouns in general are third party descriptors. It doesn’t even make sense to say that one identifies with certain pronouns, because the purpose of pronouns is not to determine identity, but to describe a person or thing. The “we’ve always used ‘they’ and ‘them’ in the singular” argument also falls flat, because, no, we haven’t. We’ve only used “they” and “them” when the sex of the sentence’s object is unknown, or there are multiple objects being discussed. The entirety of the obsession with gender and personal identification is stupid. I don’t give a single solitary fuck what you identify as, if I think you’re a biological male when referencing you to another person, I’ll use he and him to do it, and she and her if I think you’re a biological woman. Because that’s what pronouns are for; describing people in a generalized sense. Only if I’m unsure of your biological sex will I refer to you as they and them. If you’re not an asshole, I will choose to use your preferred pronouns, and if you are an asshole, I’ll intentionally use the wrong ones. I don’t need to make you happy. You need to earn my respect if you expect me to alter my speech, period.

It's also used to speak on behalf : "My client would like THEIR contribution recognized" "My friend said THEY were ready" It's a formal, gender neutral, number neutral subject. When you think about it for 2min, this use case makes no sense for personal pronouns. It feels so unnatural. As a non-native english speaker, I am very fluent, but having a latin mother tongue, a lot of things make sense to me as I can see the parallels to both languages. And I can tell you this makes no fucking sense whatsoever. North America is doomed culturally. When common language means nothing anymore, how can you understand each other? When the basis of identification are put through so many filters, how can you tell what is what? This is dangerous and stupid.

You can ask politely for a nickname, but it's up to the other person whether or not they honor your request. Dude is obviously male, therefore I'll use male pronouns to describe him. If he wants an ambiguous pronoun, he should make himself appear ambiguous. Regardless, it's the height of rudeness to use a pronoun to speak about someone to their face, so it's not like he would ever see/hear me describing him.

Here's the rub: Just because they were wrong to torture him for being gay as a kid (and were likely the cause of it in the first place, I'd be not surprised), does not justify his being the way he is. The truth is that some behaviors are unacceptable. However, as people crave or even need acceptance, those who are entrenched in evil, addiction, deviancy, and degeneracy -- who have cemented in their own minds that they cannot change -- will try to force *you* to change so that they may have their validation, rather than go through the arduous journey of improvement. Corruption is easier. Sometimes this takes on the behavior that we describe with the analogy of "crabs in a bucket." Although that is less a forcing of someone to change, and more of keeping them from improving themselves. Then, we have situations where any voice of reason which speaks out against something clearly wrong must be snuffed out mercilessly. "That is why the drunk hates you for turning down their offer to get wasted with them. Your existence is a reminder that they are less than what they could be," or something to that effect. At the end of the day, it is what it is. You can't do anything for these people, but you can be sure they'll do everything in their power to destroy you simply for not playing along.

As someone who does not speak english as a first language, the use of they/them as the 3rd person singular pronoun is a degradation of the language. It is bad enough that the 2nd person pronoun is you in both singular and plural. They are litterally removing the ability to comunicate clearly. The south has the right idea with y'all.
@mmouse1886
@mmouse1886 2 жыл бұрын
Ironically enough the South got it from old English word being pronounced and meaning the same thing, if you look at Shakespeare's work (which you may or may not have if English isn't your native language) it appears in it a few times. The way Shakespeare used it is linguistically the correct way to use the word, because if he didn't he would've been out of a job.

Good video dev. Two points I'd like to add. With the they/them pronouns thing. My issue is that I forces you to conform to their world view. I do not believe people can be "non-binary". I think that gender is linked to biology and while people with gender dysphoria feel like they are the opposite sex they do not lack their ties to those gender issues. Men and women do hear, see and think differently. Gender non binary advocates for a strange in the middle, genderless path. Which a) is a political idea around abolishing gender and an easy label to grap in a world where LGBTQ identity grants status and b) is a psychologically damaging thing. Abigail shraier convinced me how damaging non-binary is and I do not wish to encourage that. As for your point about the left wanting the right to disappear. Yes they do. I've said it before that the right is guilty of hating certain groups. They often target groups that don't seem to fit the norm and it makes them uncomfortable. However that's to certain degrees and not all right leaning people do. As for the left they just hate the right. All of it. Any right leaning person they despise and wish the worst upon. It doesn't matter what identity group you fall under. The left wants to see their destruction because they think they are evil. Beyond evil. So yes the left have no tolerance, care or understanding of the right. They would genocide them tomorrow if they could.
@memnarch129

Id argue more that the They/Them or other non-binary pronouns are harmful to other Non Straight individuals. Trans individuals WANT to be recognized as the opposite. They arnt "non binary" they are binary. So to then add and suggest non binary language is to semi erase these people by saying "there is no such thing as male or female its how you feel and present". This also applies to Women who are gay, and yes Lesbian is just a word created to give women their own unique word for being Gay, or Men who are gay. Cause they are attracted to other MEN AND WOMEN not to a Fur/Furself. Neo Pronouns are a way for those who have realized your NOT unique or different or special to make themselves FEEL like they are special. And it does harm to those who ACTUALLY exist in those spaces.

@@memnarch129 i think non-binary use that as a escape route. Letra be honest, if no one felt bad about the way they were born, things like that would never exist, and the world would be better. One thing I'd like to add is a major difference between the left and right: Whenever someone on the far right makes an openly, explicitly, and genuinely racist/sexist/-istaphopic statement, the right wing on the whole steps up and says "Shut your mouth, pack your things, and get the fuck out of here." The left, as far as I can tell, almost never does that, instead twisting themselves into bizarre shapes to justify or ignore their bad behavior. Examples: Years ago, there was a republican congressman who said something along the lines of "If she gets pregnant, it isn't rape". It didn't take long for him to be told to get out by his own party. Meanwhile, Ilhan Omar openly tweeted some anti-Semitic remarks, and the left refused to condemn her; instead, Pelosi filed a generic motion to condemn anti-Semitism without naming names.

One thing I noted during this video was that Sam Brinton's amazing and potentially world changing nuclear waste repurposing project is going to be completely overshadowed by his flaunting his gender identity and weird kinks. His work may not be taken seriously by the masses. It's like with Terry Davis. When he was alive, his programming genius was often overlooked because people saw him as racist, unstable, and easily trolled by the internet. It wasn't until after his death did people begin to understand just how much of an accomplishment TempleOS was; the man made an entire operating system from scratch.

I like this. And honestly, if right wingers want to make their own apps and social networks and spaces, good on them. In fact, I'm happy for them. Lately I've been frequenting the deep web just to use truly anonymous forums so I can experience the internet without cancel culture. It's actually really fucking refreshing, I would recommend it to anyone (just be careful and don't identify yourself). And I agree that you can have whatever kinks and fetishes you want, but they don't need to be advertised. That being said, I do think we should be able to openly discuss sex without feeling ashamed. I liked what you said about real sex being quite goofy. Yeah, I certainly wouldn't want a sex tape of me getting out, but then again, no one would want to watch it. As far as that guy's childhood, I have a soft spot for child abuse, and that's fucking horrific. I've heard of illegal gay conversion camps where the boys are molested and raped, but this is the first time I've heard of actual torture. That's fucking awful. And I know my father wouldn't be okay with me being gay, but he would never actually hurt me if I was, he just wouldn't want to think or talk about it. Which is definitely shitty, but no where near the level this guy's psychopath parents were at.
