To dismiss without prejudice means that Smith can do his report. If he just puts it in hold then the report couldn't be brought into the light. There's a good chance that pab45 won't be able to be charged in four years either by dying or his brain giving out it won't happen. There are however a lot if those around him that can be charged and will be able to be charged. The info regarding them will be in this report (I hope).

This was the plan all along. So obvious. DOJ dragged it's feet for over a year before doing ANYTHING. They didn't put him in jail. They didn't file in DC, but instead chose to file in Florida, risking Cannon overseeing the case. They didn't immediately, or subsequently file to remove Cannon during the entire circus, while entertaining every possible delay. To top it off??? They never filed charges for inciting an insurrection. Sure, they charged him for obstructing the election, but not the far more serious charges. Frankly, our system is broken and it's already too late to save it. Buckle up.
