Age catches up with all of us, so this was bound to happen. A Serious Runner announces that he is giving up road racing, training for marathons, and even the Boston Marathon as the be-all end-all of running prestige.

(In all seriousness, did a 10-mile trail race while in Moab... so much fun! the shorter trail stuff is amazing, but most people equate trail running with ultramarathons, which is unfortunate, but had to keep the video streamlined)

When I asked a FF mgr about trail races, they mentioned WSER & Cool 50k. I asked about shorter races. He paused, scratched his head, and said he equated trail running with ultra running.🤷‍♂️
