Hi guys, I remember when I was younger and we travelled to France for many many years to the south of France with the caravan and we used to avoid the tolls as much as possible. I suppose using the tolls does mean less travelling time/traffic etc. Its so beautiful France. I especially love the Vendee region of France. We used to make overnight stops en route in camping sites, it splits the journey up nicely plus you get to stay and see what other sites are like to stay on. Enjoy your time in France. Sarah you and the children may enjoy the exploring nature with children curriculum it covers a lot of subjects and is all to do with being outdoors and exploring so would be perfect for your travels and you can purchase it online and print off as you need or even just do it of a tablet or laptop , we’ve been using it for years it’s always good to come back to because you discover new things all the time 🤗

If you called the rv place they probably told you but incase they didn't, here's my 2 cents lol. It normally only does that if it's a ton of rain in a short period and it sounds like that's what it was. Put a bucket under it when you turn it back on again cause there's probably water still in there. Its happened to us several times. But if it continues to do it with just normal rain, then the seal is bad which would be covered under your warranty. Im probably typing this for nothing cause you guys are pretty smart and figured that all out lol. BTW, what was wrong with the the av b4 when you couldn't get it to work. Just curious cause you didn't mention it. Safe travel guys. Make lots of memories. Im jealous lol. Love a momma from the USA

The reason most of the péage booths are empty is because most people have the Sanef TollTag which beeps when you get to the ticket machine and you just fly straight through (my family have one as you get a special offer if you’re a EuroTunnel Le Shuttle customer)

If ever you need a supermarket in France, there is a Carrefour in Cite Europe, which is right next to the euro tunnel terminal! It’s an amazing shop and really cheap too! We’re from Whitstable in Kent and often nip across the channel for a spree in Carrefour! Loving these vlogs ❤️ xxxx

My family has this thing that you attach to the glass on ur car and you just drive up to the barrier at the tolls and it scans the barcode and it directly charges ur car and you can drive straight through. It’s an amazing investment!

Maybe a little tip for next time u go, there are ways to avoid tols the entire way down to the south of France even Italy, it does take slightly longer but takes u through some lovely countryside. Angers in the north of France is heavily recommeended from me it’s a gorgeous town

When we going skiing we get a toll thingy that u just stick to your windscreen and it just adds up so you pay it when u leave as one sum- it saved so much time for us and means you dont have to worry about paying as you go! X
