Hi Anita love your jersey cardi and I noticed that you’d made buttonholes, I’m very impressed, what are you tips please I’d love to know. I’ve just made a fleece/wool casual jacket and my machine would not sew buttonholes so l had to sew them by hand! So not the finish I was after.

Lovely to catch up Anita, it looks like you have a very fun crafty season ahead of you! Looking forward to seeing how you get on with your fabric subscription…sounds like fun! I agree with you about jersey, I think it’s easier than many fabrics- no fraying and very forgiving for fit issues. I’m knitting on a flax sweater as I’m watching xxx

Thank you Eva. It's nice having a room to sew in. I even enjoy tidying it up. I agree with you that jersey fabric helps with fit. I've knitted a Flax Light with 4ply scraps. It's a lovely pattern. The winter woollies will soon be out. X

It’s great to see you again and lovely to hear about all of your crafty plans - plenty to keep you busy! I am interested in having a go at Tunisian crochet - your sampler blanket looks like an excellent choice to get lots of practice!

Thank you Helen. Sometimes I wish I only liked one craft as I want to make so many different things and it takes a lot of will power not to have a mountain of projects on the go. When they start to build up, like now, I have to be strict with myself as I know I'll become overwhelmed and progress spread so thinly becomes very slow. Silly really. In saying that I do like to have variety in my projects which I can then pick up depending on my mood. X

I love your new blanket. I started one in 2020. Maybe I need to finish it🤣 I'm busy with baby knits. x

Thank you Jane. I've got a crocheted scrappy stripe blanket I add left over 4ply to that I've had on the go for years. I sometimes take it with me as a project when we go away with the grandchildren as it's a no concentration project plus they can use it as long as I put the live stitch on a progress keeper. I love baby knits. They are so cute and quick to make. What patterns are you using? I know several people having babies at the moment so on the look out for some new ideas. X

Lovely to see a video from you and what you are working on and your plans. I've never used Aldi yarn but Davina from little Workroom Crafts has used it a lot, maybe drop her a message and get her thoughts on washing? I'm knitting another Trescao jumper by Along Avec Anna.

Thank you Maggie. I will ask Davina. How many Trescaos have you made! It looks like a jumper you could wear a lot. Are you holding two yarns together? I think knitting like that are lightweight but very warm and snuggly. X

There is a tutorial on the KZbin channel "Made By Anita" where she shows you what to do with your granny square ends round by round so that when your square is finished, you'll only have the beginning end and the last end to weave in! 😍 So nice to see you Anita! I love your projects. I'm knitting the Ruth Shawl.

Thank you Debbie for the tutorial recommendation. It's bound to be good with a name like that! I don't know anyone with the same name as me. I love the look of blankets made with granny squares so that tutorial will be perfect. Is the Ruth Shawl by Joanna Herriott? If so, it looks like it will be very cosy. What yarn are you using?

Thank you Lenore. I think i need to dedicate a bit more time to my projects to get them finished which will be much easier now the weather's turning and I'll be spending more time inside. I'm going to ask a very British question now. What's the weather like with you? X

@@GagaKnits we are currently experiencing beautiful spring weather with temps around 18 - 20 Celsius although we are still experiencing some frosts. This and Autumn are my favourite times of the year. Our temp will gradually increase to the high 30’s/ low 40’s in the summer. ❤️❤️🌺
