The demo was so good. IIRC, the concept started because they wanted a game wherein you can shapeshift, and in coop you can ride into battle together.

I think the point of the stamina bar is that your other form recovers while you are shifted out. So you could fight non-stop, and eventually have 8 skills to juggle. But the aggro doesn't look like it sticks that hard, so you can get away with never optimizing your output so far.
