@@mywoolmitten yes, we have done quite a bit of traveling with the camper! I had been on a break from spinning and knitting for quite sometime. The cross stitch bug bit me. Now I am back to knitting but haven’t sat at my wheel for probably a year!😳 I have many, many wips that are getting my attention at the moment. I still dream about visiting your farm someday! Hope you are enjoying your summer as well!

oh Carrie, I am so very sad for the loss of your wonderful Style. What an amazing ewe she was: leader of her sisters and teacher to Badger. It feels as if she knew that she could pass on her responsibilities to a trusted soul in Badger. Beautiful. Sending love x

Oh Cary I'm so terribly sorry your Stile had to cross the bridge. It's so very difficult when we have to say good bye to a special friend. Thank you for sharing about how Badger has found his place within your home, he sounds like a very special lad. It's always great to hear you all are doing.

I’m so sorry, Cary. It’s so hard to lose a special animal friend. We had two Great Pyrs on our alpaca farm for 9 years and I loved watching them work. I loved hearing about Badger. Sending hugs.

I'm sorry to hear that Style's time to rest has come. There are some animals that just wedge into our hearts closer than others. And we are so blessed to have had them in our lives for their season. Thank you for sharing the story of Badger. I'm always awed at animal's senses and abilities.

Such a wonderful podcast. Thank you for sharing the heartache of losing a beloved animal and for the blessing that you have badger. I feel your pain as I had a beloved bum lamb who I had,followed me everywhere and had a long life. They are irreplaceable. sending hugs ❤

Thank you for sharing your stories Cary! I hope your loss lessens with each passing day. I too have a problem with deer, they eat everything that I plant including bark off of trees and perrenials they previously didn't eat, as well as my vegetable garden. They can't be hunted since I live in the city(Baltimore). Take care!

I’m so sorry about Style, you were kind to let her go. What a great story about Badger! I had no idea deer are such a problem there. We have a “resident” black tail doe with her two fawns. I say resident because I see her the most. A couple bucks appear in the fall, and that’s it. I’m aware of mountain lions in our area, which keeps the deer population and unfortunately goat population occasionally in check.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful, bittersweet story. I haven't been keeping up with your videos as much as I used to. You indicated you're going to find a new home for the shetlands that don't like your guard dog. Does this mean you're giving up on the shetlands entirely? I look forward to an update about your current thinking about your flock, moving forward.
