I agree. Going on a show like this as a romantic couple or any relation for that matter is a huge mistake for two main reasons - one if people are aware of it on introduction they will be suspicious as if one is a traitor the other will keep quiet for them and two if you lie and the others find out (which they have) you have lost their trust and will not believe anything you say from then on. To be on a show like this for life changing amounts of money, you need to be on your own and do not form any emotional attachments to anyone that can sway your votes. You only support your fellow traitors until you get all the faithful out. Tom panicking like that has ruined his and Alex's chances of winning.

On the other hand, Matt is an absolute sweetheart, it's no surprise most people in the show adored him (even Claudia decided to keep his picture). He initially had a crush on Alex because of her looks, yes, yet he did say she was also a very nice person and that he loved talking to her. He's not pretending to be anything more than he is and even though he was hurt because Alex lied to him he was still kind and understanding. Tom is such a red flag for the way he'd loose his temper so quickly and try to manipulate people around him. He also shot himself and Alex in the foot because he thought he knew better than anyone so the whole 'he put himself on the line' is so ironic because they were in danger because of him anyway. Honestly, Alex deserves so much better than Tom, she is the smart one between the two. Matt seems like a very good guy, hope he meets someone nice because he deserves it.

Here's the thing: If I were there, listening to that confession, I'd be asking them why the producers of the show allowed them to enter together because it means they have an unfair advantage. With them being a couple, they can trust each other more and there's a good chance that if one of them won, they would share some of their winnings with the other, so they effectively have double the odds of getting money at the end. I'd therefore want to find a way for one of them to leave the show as soon as possible so the game can be fairer.

I’m not gonna lie… Season 1 was so much better than Season 2 in my opinion of course , everything was better, it was the first season and also no one had done it yet- the drama of of Tom and Alex together was much more unexpectedly told than Dianne and Ross. The cast was more likeable. Will was evil and yes so was Harry and Paul but it’s my preference, I think i usually prefer original seasons like this, just it’s better first time

this whole show was so entertaining for how emotional people got, I swear only Imran despite getting gaslight alot never cared or got emotional and they all got confused by how calm his demeanour was despite getting tons and tons of intense comments and Theo even trying to bully him because of how nonchalant and how he refused to cry, he was my fav here though he left the game with respect and left the end refusing to beg which I found admirable

Frankly I think any labeled as "reality show" is bind to be a dumpster fire and it is true for past 5-10 years. YT showed this for some reason to me and after not watching TV for like 10 years already I'm not keen to get back it is only degrading more and more. Gosh just look at Tik Tok and you will see where it is all going these days..
