I found you by way of a dental video and just happened to watch this one next. So glad I did. I am literally laying in bed with a heating pad over my right ovary after forming ANOTHER ovarian cyst! I struggled with infertility and had endometriosis removed from the right ovary in my 30s. In perimenopause, I started forming painful cysts on this ovary. Doctor offered to remove the ovary, and I have wanted to avoid more surgery. I have always felt like the Lone Ranger in this. Thank you for sharing your story. Hoping menopause comes SOON. I will continue to follow your journey. God bless you, and thanks again! 🙏❤️

Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m so sorry you are dealing with endometriosis. I have been on a journey to figure out my hormones and endometriosis as well for a long time and losing hope. It has been really frustrating. I’m praying you will get some relief!

Fennel is a good food to balance hormones. You can rub some essential oil of fennel on your belly properly diluted. There are many synthetic hormone disruptors in our water, food and general environment i.e. phytoestrogens.

I too suffer with ovarian cysts. I learned that supplementing with organic iodine can help dissolve cysts. It has helped me tremendously. My sister has had success with iodine as well. I just wanted to share this information with you so you can do your own research on this. I use Lugol's Iodine 2%. Dr. Eric Berg has very informative videos on iodine deficiency. God Bless 💖🙏👐

Yes! The number one nutrient needed to help the glands be it thyroid, pancreas, breasts, ovaries, testes, uterus, prostate, etc is iodine! Check out David Brownstein MD near Detroit as he is a big iodine researcher. Lugol's Solution is great too bc it has multiples forms of iodine. The percentage on the bottle is the the amount of elemental iodine and double that is the amount of potassium iodide. Different glands prefer different forms. For example, thyroid likes the potassium iodide (the form in iodized salt to prevent goiter) while breast prefers the elemental form of iodine.

Hello Doctor, a question outside the topic of a post, but I wanted to get your opinion. Have you encountered a treatment for simple tooth decay? You treat a product that remineralizes your teeth. Thank you.

I, unfortunately, had a full hysterectomy at 38. I’m now 43. We had to adopt. I never could get pregnant. I had a cyst that was not shrinking on my right ovary and my left ovary was attached to my bowels. If you have any recommendations on something other than prescription HRT, I’d appreciate it.

Check out Felice Gersh MD from Irvine CA. She is board certified Ob/Gyn and Integrative Medicine. She recommends topical bioidentical hormones but in a physiologic dose and cycling them every 2 weeks to get the full benefits of estradiol and progesterone. She made a statement that really makes sense... You can't balance zero! So if a gland is damaged or missing, you supply the missing hormones whether it's a thyroid, pancreas, ovary, testes, etc. Only in women's healthcare is it so abominable that are we medically gaslighted instead. If a man loses his testicles, they don't give him an antidepressant. They give him testosterone. If a diabetic has high blood sugar, they give them insulin. If your thyroid got irradiated, they give you T4 and if your liver isn't converting you get T3 added. If you have a bilateral oophorectomy or hit perimenopause, you get symptom chasing :( ugggh! How about supply the missing estrogen back to appropriate levels? But instead women get a sleeping pill, an antidepressant and on and on instead of the hormones that could eliminate the 20 some symptoms of estradiol deficiency or progesterone deficiency. I realize it's bc the WHI study (Women's Health Initiative) made us all afraid of cancer. But instead of using bioidentical estrogens and progestogens, like estradiol and progesterone, they used conjugated horse estrogen (already processed by horse's liver and ready to be excreted in the urine) and synthetic progestins which actually cause miscarriages and cancer (opposite of progesterone which is pro gestation and cancer protective). So are we even surprised that synthetic hormones, some not even species specific, messed up our systems? The one question I have and would caution is if the endometriosis tissue was not all removed or if it has traveled outside the abdomen. That would be a question for Dr Gersh. I'm guessing the cysts are forming due to the lack of estrogen spike right before ovulation which would cause the main follicle to not be strongly differentiated from the other competing follicles trying to develop that month. So then the progesterone release would not be great enough to cause the competing follicles to stop growing and dissolve hence a cyst or two. It would be best to check actual hormone levels so you know your baseline.

You're a mormon, that's upsetting. You don't even have to admit to it, you're saying all the things I used to say.

Leave her alone. If you don't want to hear what she says don't listen. Or don't take what she says personal, it's not strictly for you.
