The 2015 Chiefs’ season was a weird one: They beat Houston in Week 1 Then lost 5 in a row They lost Jamaal Charles to injury Then won 10 games in a row to get to the playoffs where they beat...Houston in the first round. It was their first playoff win since 1993. Then lost in the divisional round to the Patriots because of Reid’s questionable clock management. Weird season overall.

Watching this game really makes me sad about how Peyton Manning's final season went towards the middle. Statistically, he was terrible, but watching him, it was clear he still had it in him. His IQ was still there, but he just couldn't make the throws he needed to at a consistent rate anymore. No velocity on most of his passes, especially deep downfield. But he still had some nice dimes here and there, especially that last TD to Sanders. At least he finished that season on the highest note possible. He deserved it.

This is one of those "what if" games. What if Charles hadn't fumbled? What if KC had won this game? KC likely would have likely gone on to win the AFC West, New England would have had HFA in the playoffs. Would Denver have still won the Super Bowl as a wildcard?
@mikeguzman32904 жыл бұрын
@@jasonbarney5587 the 2015 Broncos had A LOT of "what if" moments. Every game they won was only by 1 score except against the Lions, Packers, Chargers, and the Super Bowl. @KS-jn7bs5 жыл бұрын
@Tyler G It seems like you're misinterpreting the time period that I considered Peyton Manning "washed". I was solely talking about 2015, not the few years prior to that. He was clearly washed up in 2015 considering that he had an entire offseason to heal from whatever ailments (ex. hamstring in '14) he had. He obviously still had his moments that year including outplaying Brady in the AFC Championship Game but that was a horrible season for any QB, let alone him.

This game ended up helping the Broncos win the AFC West by 1 game. Playoffs really could have been way different that season.
