Why the animation ended with a cliffhanger:
Fans have been asking themselves this question ever since the last episode. The most promising scene for the "kiss" lead one of them to confess his love and the other one wasn't given any chance to reciprocate; It actually ended with a cliffhanger.

Yes! This accurately depicts the Destiel parts of Supernatural as a tertiary storyline. 😂 the fact that this is throwing all the instances together and reminding us of the chemistry and all the longing and the little things that everyone tried to get Dean to fess up to.
