A short demonstration of Radio-C app with HRD-787

Radio-C app is not working properly with HanRongDa HRD-787.
“Please turn on Bluetooth and connect to the device” appears on the app display instead of current frequency and mode.
Connection with “HRD-787” device in the phone’s Bluetooth settings doesn’t make sense.

I have the Zhiwis version. Excellent radio with a ton of features! Could be my only desert island radio. Let me tell you, it's not a gadget. It receives very well on all the bands and the recording function is fantastic. Sound is HUGE for such a small radio. The mp3 player has a random play feature, what 99% of the other radios don't have. I highly recommend it. It ticked all the boxed which were required for me: excellent reception, good sound, recording function and an mp3 player with a random play feature.

The idea behind this though is a breakthrough and hopefully a major radio mfg like Tecsun, Eton, or CCrane will integrate this technology into a high end radio.

Если верить инструкции, нужно в выкл. сост. зажать кнопку Band на 2 сек и выбрать пресет FM 87-108 МГц, тогда АМ/СВ будет с шагом в 10 кГц. 73!

These Chinese “radio toys” have very poor quality of reception. Actually, the HRD-787 is a piece of garbage.

Hi! Do you know, how to switch the step 9/10 khz for AM?

According to user manual, after turning radio off, you can hold Band button for 2 seconds and switch to FM 87-108 MHz preset by short pressing Up and Down buttons. So, 10 kHz step for AM will be activated. 73!

I wish they would apply it for tef6686 tuner or for sdr. It's a revolutionary idea. But the radio is of poor quality. Excellent radios can be very inexpensive thanks to remote control with BT. No screen and button costs. Body cost is reduced.

We've had that for years already. Just get a good radio app on your phone and send the signal to a Bluetooth speaker. There are 1000's stations with crystal clear clarity.

Ну и в чём практическая ценность? Дистанционное управление нужно кондиционеру, до которого не дотянешься. А карманному приемнику оно как корове седло. Это только повод продавать за 3500₽ приемники, которым красная цена 1000₽
