A Short LSRC Southbound Out of Alpena Michigan on December 3rd, 2024

With stone season coming to an end for this year and traffic ultimately winding down, LSRC is back to running on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s up to Alpena. This will last till spring hits and stone starts running again.

Classic example for model railroaders to show you do NOT need mile long trains to be "prototypical" in your operations. Looks like Gaylord train spent the overnight in Pinconning last night, only the number boards lit as it sat on the main behind Northwoods Outdoors Outlet. Or it was waiting for daylight to run to Standish with grain cars. Not sure, I am not an insider, just a model railroader and a fan. Nice video!

That horn sounds weird remind even background me of CN when I ues to like them when they ues to have old locomotives with good horns & bells.
