Cool walk of the Grand Bazaar. I'd love to go here one day especially to try the cuisine and maybe buy some of the local handicrafts. I wonder how much has changed since you did this walk almost 10 years ago now...

I recently started watching Turkey T.V. shows, fell in love with the people, and hope to travel to Turkey some day. Thank you for a great video and camera so steady, I didn't get sea sick nor tired from all that walking.

Just a bit amazed at the standard of dress on the part of some, taking into account the culture of the society that they setting themselves among. I have seen it before, some 40+ years ago, elsewhere. Thank you to the person who put this together and posted it - so looking forward to the day that hopefully we'll be able to visit this ancient and beautiful city, and experience the genuine hospitality of Turkish people.

If you go to Venice, You will see 4 statues of horses in San Marko square. These are actually copies. The original ones are in the lower building. These statues were brought here by Crusaders from Istanbul. When the Crusaders entered Istanbul, they looted many of those statues. They entered Aya Sofia by horse ,engaged in prostitution, and drank wine.In 1453, Mehmet The Conqueror descended from his horse and entered Aya Sofia and turned it into a mosque. The Byzantine Emperors wanted architects from the Turks.Aya Softa, Turkish architects made repairs at various times he's been able to make it to this day, stay intact.Otherwise it would have collapsed already.

Amazing video. I wonder how you film without anybody taking notice of it. Also it is intersting to watch that no matter where you are, people seems not to take notice of you. :-) You sort of hide in the crowd. How do you do that?

I like Middle-Eastern Architecture because it is in many ways similar to European. My favorite cities are all in Europe or the Middle East... it is strange that even though civilization has existed in Eastern Asia for so long there isn't that much to show for it in terms of really old buildings or city districts.
