You have to spread the sheaves on the driven pulley. You are correct it is a continuously variable setup.

Hi JB, I am a retired castrol rep, great to see those drums in the shed. I used to look after that area as part of my patch and had several great resellers in the area, like Dawmac, MGT, AG spares, Jerilderie Fert etc. nice to see the brand is still around 👍. Oils ain’t oils 😁

Yeah ok that’s interesting, my dad only ever used Castrol so that’s all I’ve ever used. Berrigan will almost die if Dawmac ever closes its doors!

I tried that this week, bloke in town said 3 weeks to look at it. But he had all the parts and took me 4 hours and was going again

Yeah there was a bit of that here, I also would have battled to get it on a trailer to get it to town. If the housing wasn’t broken it would have been an easier fix.
