Awesome comparison! Never seen this splitter on sale so cheap! I have the same 25 ton as you. I found a little trick for easier splitting. In the vertical position, the wood chip build up drops 90% as it mostly falls away. I threw a cushion on a chunk of wood and split all day vertically which was easy on the back with the big rounds. Inside the slide area where the wedge is, it was gouging the metal a bit so now i grease before i use it. I haven't found anything it cant split! Thanks for sharing!

thanks for the comparison video. Ive been looking for a bigger log splitter for a while and think the 40 ton county line is the best option. I like that tall wide wedge. should work good for some of the more stringy woods that I have.

@@rkfirewood7576 I'm glad you liked the comparison. They are good splitters my pump wasn't adjusted properly when I got it so if it's not splitting something you know it should take the hex cap off the pump and give it a clockwise turn or two. The company pretends it doesn't exist.

Ive never found anything in the midwest my 30T wont split. Busted the hydraulic filter base off, tires went flat. Starts on the first pull every time. Does fine

I've heard alot of bad news about that smaller kohler on the 25 ton. Have you had any issues with that motor?

@@benjaminleslie3155 I've had as many as 4 of them at a time I have 3 now and I've never had a problem with any of the motors.
