Al-Buhuti reported: Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, said, اللَّهُمَّ أَرِنِي الْحَقَّ حَقًّا وَوَفِّقْنِي لِاتِّبَاعِهِ ، وَأَرِنِي الْبَاطِلَ بَاطِلًا وَوَفِّقْنِي لِاجْتِنَابِهِ Allahumma arinil haqqa haqqaw wa wafiqnee tiba’ihi, wa arinil baatila baatilaw wa wafiqnee ij tinaabih Oh Allah, show me the truth as truth and guide me to follow it, And show me falsehood as falsehood and guide me to avoid it.
