It really looks fantastic, and the color scheme is incredibly cool

I am currently using GSI Hyper P1 but looking to expand to diff racing styles. Was debating either this 1, or the ready made Pokornyi GTB button plate. Djd they ever say if they might be Simhub compatible, or why it is not full RGB ?

In your video you don't have it connected to the Asetek QR. One other YTer testet it and explicitly states that it doesn't work. For me that's a must. Have you tested it and does it really don't work?
@kmw80326 ай бұрын
Sorry if this is s stupid question, but why do you have a USB cable from the wheel away over your rig? Does the hub not work by plugging it directly into the SB socket on the Asetek Quick Release adaptor? Thanks, great review BTW 👍

Okay, watched the entire video. Seems like a solid product for a VERY targeted audience. It seems like an interesting add on if you say have a favorite wheel rim (like a Momo, Sparco, BMW, Porsche, etc.) and you want the awesome features of paddles, buttons, etc. I can completely understand that and would consider that for my Sim-Motion wheel. That said, at that price and with some of the short sides (that display should support SimHub, there is ZERO reason why they didn't allow it to) it'd be a pass for me. Maybe if it were $100 USD less? I'm all about paying for fine manufacturing and am a firm believer in the buy-once-cry-once philosophy, but dang . . . HAHA! At that rate, I'd rather just buy a wheel from my wheel-base manufacturer and swap out whenever I want/need buttons and paddles on the wheel.

Mechanical assembler here, did you try threading the bolt on the back in backwards? It’s possible the fitting was put in upside down meaning the threads are now reversed or the bolt itself is damaged and doesn’t have the grabbing threads on the very end of the shank

No I didn't try it by my lad ran a tap through it and it's fine now 😁

Early comment: Conspit; That's an unfortunate name. Let's see what it equates to as a product!

Absolutely awful name. They really need to consider changing that.

is it worth the money... well for me not really as im in the fanatec eco i can get another Porshe wheel with the Podium addon for cheaper then that and it looks way better as i own 1 haha. Great review though with plenty of good info

Lmao a fanatec douchebag. Have fun with ur plastic button module. Not comparible in quality.

This is still way nicer then fanatec and fanatec doesn’t have backlit buttons and has a smaller screen and less options to it!

How much are Asetek paying to use their product? Noticed every KZbinr suddenly has one even if the simcube you used previously is known to have better force feedback.

He's been using asetek for nearly a year now. Don't get you panties in a bunch because someone isn't using your favorite piece of sim racing hardware.
@alecmillea45396 ай бұрын
Not sure where you’ve heard that the simucube has better ffb. From all the sources I’ve seen the Asetek bases feel basically exactly the same as the simucube ones because asetek purchased some of simucubes IP. Hence the similarity in the quick releases as well. Please provide a source for the simucube products having superior ffb.

Asetek aren't even a channel partner so I'd doubt very much they'd give me money 🤣 I use it as it's the best wheelbase I've had 😁

Deep pockets for sure, lol, I am struggling to work out how I am going to get a Thrustmaster wheel, I want a new wheel coz I do think now that the Logitech wheel is holding me back, It is embarrassing even saying Logitech steering wheel, lol, Thrustmaster seems to be in a price range I can afford, Almost, lol, And having the ability to change wheels, I like the shape of the TRX Racer wheel, But what is putting off with thrustmaster is the pedals, They look terrible in plastic, Can some one tell me what the best adapter to run Logitech pedals into a thrustmaster wheel, But I did see thrustmaster pedals for 150 with the load cell, I wish Sim racing stuff was a little bit cheaper, The way I see things is if a company sells a product cheap enough for everyone to afford then the company will sell more, Meta proved that with the Quest 2, Out selling consoles so I have read, lol, And 200 pounds isn't an unreal price for Family members to either get as a present, Or Birthday presents, If the thrustmaster wheel was the same price as the Logitech then Logitech would have a problem, lol, All I read is the Thrustmaster is an upgrade from a G920, Can someone tell me if 340 pounds is a good price for a T300 wheel, Also the quick release looks a bit doobiest on the Thrustmaster, Is it as strong and less chance of messing up as it looks, I mean using a little screw to hold a twist connection with 3.9nm of torque just feels like too much of a short cut that can cause issues with changing wheels regular, That said I want to buy the Thrustmaster T300, Just the pedals and price of the shifter is why I have not yet actually got a T300 wheel, With the Fanatec issues is it risky getting a DD wheel, It is 400 pound for a 2 pedal set wheel bundle isn't it, Where as the Thrustmaster already has a big eco system, And like I said I do like the Track Racer wheel, The shape for me is amazing, I like the flat part at the bottom of the wheel, I find with the bottom flat chucking a car into a corner would be easier, Plus I Sim Race in VR only now, I struggle to even think about Sim Racing on my TV screen now, I have been Sim racing with a Quest 2, And the TP-Link AX3000 router, I might not even bother getting a quest 3 now, lol, What the TP-Link Router have done for AMS 2 in VR is staggering, Ask anyone who is using a TP-Link AX3000 or higher, I even read the models under the AX3000 is still amazing in VR, My minds blown by how much better the VR looks now I am using the TP-Link AX3000, The Wi-Fi-7 TP-Link router that is coming out will be something else again, lol.... But yeah I think I am going to get the Thrustmaster, Unless anyone can show me a wheel around the same price as 350-400 pounds that is better than the Thrustmaster please let me know, I really do need an upgraded wheel, The Logitech is a great wheel, It just gets boring fast, And with the Thrustmaster having a big eco system, It is my only choice for my price range, And with Sim Racing now selling more than anything else, Sim Racing is alive now, Even I have noticed loads more Sim racers online, And I only been on PC Sim Racing for the last 2 years, More and more people are now doing PC Sim racing, And with the Quest 2 out selling consoles, If that is true, Then Consoles is going to be a thing of the past sooner, Unless consoles can create or include VR with Haptic feedback suits included in with the console, lol, I heard the PS6 is already in the pipe line, Is that true??? But yeah this do look like a Quality product, The stitching on the wheel is stitching to be proud of,, lol.....

300 pounds for a t300 is not worth it, better off as buying a DD wheel with that price(which I assume would be the cost of the bundle fanatec is selling, in pounds) stick to your logitech base until you can get a dd or if you want a t300 buy it used, 150pounds average or else youre wasting money you could be saving for a DD
