Recipe for Chiffon cake:
290 g 00 flour
300 g sugar
6 eggs (separate the yolks from the whites)
200 g of room temperature water
120 g seed oil
zest of 1 lemon
1 vanilla sachet or 1 vanilla pod
1 sachet of baking powder
1 sachet cream of tartar (found in any supermarket)
half a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda
a pinch of salt
to taste icing sugar
COOKING: 160° for approximately 50 minutes then 10 minutes at 175°
