I just want you to know, my friend. I already feel the Russian people are very little different from us in the West. I even understand the adoration of Putin in regards to how our own Mango Mussolini is idolized, but he certainly envied the degree to which Putin could "control with extreme prejudice" any dissident opinions. So my questions become, do you 1) envy the journalistic freedom that remains possible in the west, AND 2) feel that there are people in your country that are willing to follow a false narrative in favor or the reality?
@justaguy61002 жыл бұрын
BTW ACTUALLY adding the part where you videoed the car backing away, AND included the "I'm picking up my camera" was BOSS. I wish more creators would break that 4th wall.

Your "community" channel questions about views of this vid finally inspired me to go ahead and spend the time to watch. Glad I did. Every time I see the countryside of Russia, it always reminds me of some place I might see in the USA (although there's usually some modern-ish townsy place not far away). It's all so beautiful. I also miss the days when there was a group of friends that just randomly went somewhere. You've documented it - which means you'll have refreshable memories for a lifetime. Enjoy it. I suspect many Russian channels are building viewers based on current events, so the *personal* side on those channels will take longer to establish. Don't lose hope in it.

Hello Niki! I watched this video while on break at work. I work at a restaurant here in America that serves burgers and a kind of ice cream called "Custard", and it is very popular in some parts of America. The restaurant is called "Culvers". I really appreciate the honesty that you showed in this video, specifically when you talked about how you sometimes don't know what keeps you and your friends together. I'm sure you appreciate your friends just as much as I appreciate mine. It was nice to see this outdoor area you went to, even if I wasn't actually there. I used to go to places like that with my family when I was a kid, but I haven't went anywhere like that in a long time. I live close to Lake Michigan. I don't know how much you know about US Geography, but Lake Michigan is a massive lake that is northeast of Chicago and only an hour away from where I live. The people there love to go for walks or slow car rides along the coast of the lake. There are usually lots of boats, lots of people grilling, birds flying around, and sometimes there will be events like fundraisers or concerts. It's a very awesome and beautiful place to be. I enjoy visiting Lake Michigan. My break is ending, but there is still so much I'd like to say! Take care of yourself, Niki!
@be67152 жыл бұрын
Love the Culvers Kids Butterburger combo! Just enough to eat. Lake Michigan is known as an inland sea. :)
@NikiProshin2 жыл бұрын
Now I know a bit more about US geography and ice cream! Hi Matthew, is that a popular combo of burgers+custard ice cream? I've never tried this kind of ice cream (or maybe I just didn't know that's custard, I don't know how to say this in Russian). The idea of a restaurant that serves burgers and ice cream is something untypical for me :)
@mjul70032 жыл бұрын
@@NikiProshin I think it is decently popular. I've seen other restaurants do the same thing in many different states around the country. The idea is that you have something like burgers and fries for your meal, and then you come back for custard as your dessert. You can get it at the same time as your food if you want to, but then you have to eat the custard before it melts. If it helps you at all, custard is made with different ingredients than normal ice cream. I know eggs are one of the different ingredients. Custard is also much smoother and creamier in texture than ice cream is, and it gets served fresh from a machine that we make it with. Maybe this will help you, if the Russian language does have a word for custard.
@ferrariguy82782 жыл бұрын
Ahhh Culvers... got to experience that up north in the 2000's where my GF introduced me to "custard" (high milk-fat ice cream.) It's only recently that some have opened in the South (USA).
