These episodes take up a huge amount of time and efforts to make while it's a small personal production, it makes sense that it will probably never be completed when there's family and friends and work. Just how life moves ahead anyways, time isn't your friend nor your enemy.

At this point, I return back here every few months just to check how the abandoned community is doing. As a fan from near the beginning of Slap, I’ve given up on ever receiving a satisfying conclusion to the series, as well as any more meaningful progression for the series overall. They said a year ago that they were still working on it, but that health issues were stalling progress, and I don’t want to sound like an asshole but at this point I just want Tomandre to admit that he can’t finish the series. I know we all love Slap, it means a lot to me as well, but it’s time for us to face reality as fans. Episode 19 was over 4 years ago, and to put it in perspective, episode 17 was over 7 years ago. Let’s face it guys, no matter how much we all wanted Tomandre and the crew to pull through and continue this incredible series, at this point I don’t think it’s ever going to happen, and even if we get episode 20, how long will it be until the next one? At a certain point I have to realize that even IF we get episode 20 in this year or next year, then we’ll just be right back to waiting another half-a-decade for episode 21. I love this series and I’ll be here for anything new if it ever happens, but my hope here has run dry.

It's been 10 years. The anime finally ended. The Manga ended a while ago. I am in my first year of university. I was 9 when I first saw attack on titan. I am now 19, in November 2023, this series never made it past episode 19. We survived a pandemic. Spiderman 2 came out before we got an episode 20. I genuinely believe we won't see even the end of the first season for slap on titan. It's been too long without an update. I wish Tom and the crew all the best.

What I love about this series is the continuity. Despite the length of time between episodes, there are still references and jokes that carry on throughout the series. Erwin’s puppets are from episode 16 (after the credits), Levi being Batman carries on from episode 18. Even in the last episode when Annie kicks the solider, “10 points for Griffondoor” originates from episode 7 This series is incredibly well written and by god have I watched it too many times
