How the hecking heck do you figure out the times for animals. Also what keeps you wanting to play this game? Also do you recommend single-player or multi-player?

Kia ora Dan Animal times can be learned from discovering the map and finding the animals "Zones" (Such as drinking, eating, sleeping Zones)...these Zones will advise you of the prime time period to hunt. Single player allows you to control the time via sleeping in huts or Tents...hence you can jump from zone to zone and hunt the prime hours if you want to go nuts. Multiplayer is awesome!, sharing a map with others and hearing a gun shot ring out, then reading what they harvested is always fun...but the host controls the time!, so its kinda dependant on the host in regards to when you hunt and to some degree, what you hunt! (And you also get to see & test out all the maps you dont own!) Personally...I like to walk & just explore all the maps fully and just enjoy the beauty of each region...the hunt just happens along the way and with no effort, its just a relaxing walk or fun 4x4 ride with a great mix of animals and sights to take in and hunt🥰 ...this "simple" game has me 100% hooked!! (I cant recall another game since the 90's that has had me playing 38hrs straight!!😂...never again!, Ohhh I paid for that one the days after😣) *Note - Im just a newby player that is still learning...which is why I Sub'd & watch ALL of Scarcrows vids 😉

@@willytheekid Awesome respons! I've played like over a 100 hours, but I'm still learing the more detailed mechanics of the game. It's just annoying sometimes to have to run like 2 km to a lookout point 😂

@@dannamic7794 Oh I hear ya about the walking!, hence I highly recommend the 4x4 DLC (Its 50% off at the moment)...blast around the map, unlock all the cabins & look-outs, find all the zones, then hunt ;) As far as first DLC's...I also recommend the Yukon map DLC (Its jaw dropping beautiful!!, great hunting and you get the best big game gun - Magnum 300), followed by the smoking barrells DLC for the M1 - changes the game!! (And the musket loader is a hoot!!) ...and all of these are curently 50% off at the moment on the Epic store😊(steam has regular sales as well) 😔...yeah, I went a bit nuts and grabbed 99% of the DLC's while on sale😂 Kia Kaha Dan & good hunting Bro - from Aotearoa/New Zealand

Scarecrow l just shot a diamond alligator and it's trophie rating was 517 but when l picked it up it said it was only a gold I'm so angry do you know why it did that

Also noticed that Black Brown Springboks are overpopulating as well (I saw one herd that had 5 of them) as Gold colored Wildebeest. and the Red cape buffalo definitely spawning in a lot too. Great hunt though! I have a leucistic cape buffalo on my PS4 that I spotted once then lost and have never been able to find it again. im sure its on there somewhere-unless it just up and vanished. i followed its tracks for a long, long ways-then it randomly just stopped leaving tracks so * shrug * who knows? I'd love to get an albino cape though, they look so awesome! congrats on your rare find!

Here's a idea how about you do a video on how broken this game is on console they have cheated me out of money the new Mississippi River map is broken the crocks are dying and sinking. How can you pick up the animal if it's on the bottom of the river. All these videos saying how good the game is but not one word on what's wrong with the game how about they fix the game so we can all enjoy playing it!!!!!!!!

Gators are supposed to do that. Confirmed by the devs themselves. Its to increase their difficulty and make you think about how to approach taking them out. Plus its realistic. Not everything you dislike is broken lol

@@ScarecrowTheHunter I understand all that but after a vital hit on the bank and no animal to collect clearly something is wrong. And this happens even on the old maps, and I'm not the only one with this problem. Even the score you get at times I think is wrong the game hasn't been 100% for a while and think it's time they look into it. I only say this is because I love the game you would think the older the game the better it would work because all bugs would have been looked into and fixed. Games seem to work better on PC, but console is another matter and I don't understand why that is when it's the same game.
