My car gave me trouble today so I had to cancel my plans and spent Christmas at home alone. This movie abs my Thai food made for a very happy Christmas. I cried 3 times because the movie touched me that much.

When I was 15, I saw Dolly on the Porter Wagner show, I loved her and admired her and still do, I'm nearly 61 now. Dolly is awesome, I've met a lot of "Stars", but never met her, my loss.

I saw this years ago when it was aired on Television and so enjoyed it then and truly enjoyed it now. To me this is a classic and should be aired every year on one of the tv stations at Christmas time.

Wonderful movie. But the witch ruined it for me. I just don't think that was necessary for the story. I guess though that they were trying for a Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs thing.

Dolly Parton is a favorite but I was not happy about the element of witchcraft. This is a Christmas movie and it did not belong. Then suddenly at the end there is a budding romance between Dolly and the Lee Majors character? To me, this was a hodge podge of set ups and no real story or emotion. I get it that it's a comedy but IMO, it fell flat.
