So glad Blue is ok she is adorable!!! Also tip now I am NOT an expert at snakes but I do know when handling a snake which you don't know is venomous you have to secure the head so it can't bite you by clamping it's mouth shut which goes for most animals. Also fun fact if a snakes head is cut off it can still bite you and still have venom in it's fangs depending on if it is venomous.

I am also not an expert at snakes but my uncle is and it is not a venomous snake because it has more of a pointed snout then rounded and that's how you could tell a snake is venomous or not I am pretty shirt and yes you are right when handling a snake he wants you grabbed by the head so it cannot bite that on a person.
