I completley agree with what your saying, and I love the old macks...but why just a mack? Like you said, this is AMERICAN truck simulator...well America is pretty nostalgic..and most of the people playing this game are nostalgic...I know one thing I'd prefer in Career mode, instead of getting a brand new classess plain everyday fleet truck, why not an older truck with some miles on it that you could clean up a bit as you go or leave the way it is..or be able to mod stuff like the motor..the old 3406, if you moved into a new truck that was cat powered an it was runnin kinda sluggish, you just stopped an had a private moment with the injection pump on the side the road, threw the screws in the glove box an rolled coal, or changed buttons in the old cummins. Basically I'm sayin most everyone had to start out with not necessarly junk but you know what I mean. The 80's as far as I'm concerned is when trucks and trucking was in its prime! They made the biggest power easier, trucks were classy classy! I remember all my dads old trucks from back then. Ford LTL-9000's which i know is already in the game but some more mods would be nice, GMC General, GMC astro, old freightliner's cab overs an conventionals. I remember my dads GMC astro, it was a much higher end model than a lot that were on the road, it was white with a wide dark blue stripe with a thin one above it and they both started at the grill from a point, worked there way around the side of the cab an connected on the back. It had dual exhaust 6 inch pipes that were tall above the cab, it had polished aluminum tanks instead of steel. I mean it was done up, and that took work back then. Just like today there was a lot of plain fleet trucks on the road..I remember this beautiful dark red cab over freightliner he had that was built with a long wheel base for some reason, i remember my dad telling me but i cant remember. and that was done up pretty nice too but the inside was just sharp..you know what im talking about too...the steering wheel was a resin that was the same color as the truck and had glitter in it. It was an older truck so it had the knob which was the clear resin with glitter inside and had the aluminum range selector. All the switch extentions matched the wheel and knob and they all had a chrome badge around the switch that said what it did. I remember a couple other trucks he had that had that glitter resin type stuff inside...that just stood out you know..Even dodge used to make a heavy spec tandem axle heavy spec truck. Marmon, dimond rio. I know I'd certainly like driving stuff like that in the game, an if they were done really well with tons of stuff to customize them, id even pay for it! I really wish we could use our custom trucks in multi player to show them off. Let me know what you think an if any of that was helpful?

Hey name is Chris and was curious to know ur gonna be adding a Jake Brake on to the R- series along with the Dual air cleaners with the Breather Boxes instead of the standard model? I also recommond using the R-series sleeper cab used like at the end of Over the Top, and that Truck used was a Volvo White and the same style paint skeem, except maybe like using Tiger stripes.

Sounds like an awful lot of drama going on. All the talk about it reminds me of highschool and it's a real turn off. You guys are all doing great work and I'm grateful for it as it really fleshes out a barebones gaming experience, but please, leave the drama for someone else and focus on the work and the positives. Any chance of an ETA? I live in Toronto and as anyone who's ever been to Toronto knows, these trucks are a common site. Normally used as dump trucks and cement trucks though. Which leads me to ask if you guys could make a dump chassis and then add the dump trailer as a load. I'll be willing to help. I'm not really good at coding and I've only got a few sessions of blender under my belt but I have a really high attention to detail and I'll be able to notice things that most won't. I also have an oculus rift so I can take a closer look at the trucks interiors to tell you if anything glitches and give a proper first person perspective.

If you get too much crying, mate, don't remove the collision, PLEASE! Just do an optional version that has no collision, so those of us that love the immersion, challenge and realism can still continue to be pushed to our limits. And hell yeah, we need more Macks, being from England I'd love to see a cabover too. Keep up the good work mate.
