And why can Vans and New Balance and other brands produce higher quality for 1/3 of the price? I think until people stop paying the money and speak with their wallets, then nothing is going to change.

+Sneaker Grandpa I agree. I'm into the materials and quality myself. And you definitely had one of the more unique/better made collections, compared to all the other collections I've seen on KZbin. I used to be into sneakers.. now more into shoes/boots. I have over 200 kicks. Lately I've been only buying Handmade stuff. With high quality leathers. But I grew up during the early 90s. Before the Retro trend started and everything was OG, highest you would ever pay for kicks was $150.. and those were OG Jordan's. Good materials! Well made. I actually have a couple of older New Balance/Reeboks.. Still in the box/deadstock that I bought about 15 years ago. I just gave a pair to my dad for Christmas. Reebok Classics - Black Leather with the gum bottom sole. (Also have them in White.) The leather is nice. Similar quality you would get with samples or collabs now. I don't understand how people are spending $200+ on sneakers these days, made with horrible materials. Mass produced. It's beyond crazy to me. Anyways.. Nice collection! Digging it.

Amen to this dude. Don't worry bout what other people think about your style or what you should wear. Fashion, specifically sneaker choice is meant to be personal and not about the hype of certain releases that are a waste of money. At the same time, sneaker collecting is a hobby and everybody is entitled to branch out to their own taste or stay in their own lane.

This is my favorite sneek peek! I started collecting Js 2 years ago, but already sold most of them (1 left) & changed my collection to runners, I like diversity! So far Saucony is probably the comfiest (not including adidas ultra boost)

Very dope collection and one of my top 3 favorite sneak peeks so far. People accuse others that are into collabs as being hypebeasts but I'm in it for the same reason as he said. Quality is always a few steps above GR especially with shoes like the NBs that are made in the US and Diadoras made in Italy. My N9000s and 997s utilize the best materials in my collection by far. The suede on the Rose' 997s are like nothing else I've ever felt on a pair of shoes for $235 while people spend $300-$400+ on a pair of retro 11s that are sometimes pre creased straight from the Nike and Jordan Chinese sweatshops.
