I was a thirty something year old father to two of (in my opinion) coolest kids in my universe when I went to Musica and bought the Levels CD. I really bought it for my kids who were telling me this guy has bars for days. Up to that time, I only ever listened to US hip hop. I didn't think our guys had either the vocabulary or the authenticity to believably deliver the sound. 'Stop imitating the Americans' I would say. What transpired was that we'd sing along to the songs and I realised AKA was not trying to be anything other than purely South African. I loved his patriotic spirit and how he never backed down in defending SA at all costs. It's a pity his own people did him the way they did. He was one of the coolest kids in Africa.

Yo, this is Mat and am watching this from Australia. First and foremost shout out to Slikour Onlife from moving this thing of ours from a one-man show to a platform. This is how you build a brand. Look at how great this interview. The sound was great, the video was on point. The environment even better, not your typical studio setting but some different and effortless. The subject matter was deep but was answered in a watered-down that made you marvel at how good of an interviewer Scoop is. Moreover, I also loved Supa Megas' way of answering the questions, a lot of personal honesty. To the Guys at Slikour keep pushing the needle to the upcoming podcasts, this is how it's done. To er'body watching, make sure you don't skip the ads, let's get our family paid. Must add been watching this channel for a long minute, from the days the sound wasn't that great. This is growth!!

Aka gives the best interviews. Always cool and open. You get to see aka the person and think ...y are ppl always dogging this guy? Like his a Hitmaker of note. I mean do you know what it takes to achieve longevity? U have to be a talented bruh.....u gotta be a G.O.A.T to stay relevant and cool and passionate for this long? Plus he never makes music that is for today...never a trend. Its always classic music. U can play his music any month, year or decade and it's just a vibe. That's special
