That’s why you get the T62M1 instead. At top tiers, do not get the basic version of tanks like T55A, instead get the upgraded version. Same grind but at the end you get so much more than a basic version. Do not make a mistake of buying and using basic version.

This tank is the least effective USSR tank at 8.3 but it is still quite usable and is way more balanced than the AM1. It makes you appreciate what many other nations have to put up with at this tier. The AM1 is so good at this tier that everything else in the tech tree feels underpowered against it.

If you are already godlike in a t-62 then the Chinese squadron vehicle, Object 122, is a flat out better t-62, main reason, its versatility to brawl with its 4 atgms that can quickly follow-up a bad shot, same br btw lol.

This tank is one of my favorites in game and i use it with it's historical sights that you can find in game too, the -M1 version is even better you should do a video on it

I don't play with this tank cause of very high repair cost. T-55,T-62,BMP-2,Zsu -23-2, was my favourite lineup but I have left this lineup cause of high repair cost.

It can be fun when you get a decent map, but with all the low br laser rangefinder thermal tanks gaijin has put into the 8.3 br range it just gets absolutely face fucked even at a down br, the t-62m1 is much easier to play and enjoy but when it's gets 9.7 up br it loses its fun

T-55 is overall better tank lighter by 1t, apfsds is slower but haves much better penetration, reload is faster, T-55 STILL USES APHEBC which haves enough penetration to kill everyting at 7.0-8.0-9.0

Better pen? Doesnt the t62 have like 75mm more pen? Also the 100mm isnt nearly as potent as the 115 on the t62 real war and battles have proved that
