I was a little shocked to see that the dinner at the butchers cut wasn't a group experience, but the food looked excellent. Loved the video, especially the outings. Great content- especially for someone seeing how a cruise would be going solo!

How does Yacht Club compare to NCL Haven and Celebrity The Retreat?

The Yacht Club is definitely a step above both of those. The drawback with MSC is that even though the YC is a superior experience, everything beyond the YC is more crowded, especially compared to Celebrity. The YC is absolutely worth experiencing though and it's our favorite of all the different suite offerings out there.
