What about Nia's solo, "Bye Felicia"? Even though Nia came in first place. Nia was competing against Kalani for a spot at Nationals. And Abby even admits at pyramid the next episode, that she "assumed" that spot was going to be Kalani.

I definetly agree with this! I feel like that if they had gone to like, any other competition, Kalani would have placed solely because of the solos objectively better choreography, but this was a competition judged by kids and that unintentionally gave Nia an upperhand.

ik this sounds like exaggerated stan behavior but I genuinely feel like a good majority of Nia’s solos were set up to lose . I don’t think Abby “hated” Nia necessarily , but she thought she was a bad dancer & basically wanted to keep perpetuating the stereotype that Nia was a bad dancer by giving her weak choreography . & kept her from winning a majority of the time .

She thought that the more fame Maddie had, the more fame she had. But at some point ppl stopped caring ab Abby and it was all ab Maddie. Abby stopped going to Maddie's events and stopped watching her interviews bc of this. Her giving her that piss poor choreography was her telling the world that without her Maddie wouldn't be where she is today. It was her way of saying that Maddie needed her and all of her time outside of the studio resulted in 4th place.

She had so much more to her than what was shown. I think Holla vs Wreck It was a producer move, Abby would have definitely tried to set Chloe up. I would also add Should have known by Chloe vs Not Just another pretty face by Kendell. Kendell clearly had the edge. Nias underdog was better than Chloe’s solo that week, and Nia killed hers.
