What slows you down is not the armor. It's being over-encumbered.

He has an encumbrance build.. the armour makes his animations slower due to it being thicker able to sustain more damage.. the build is meant for no slows while holding a lot thus being 1k% over encumbered

It’s both. The build doesn’t get rid of the effects of being over encumbered.you still get a slower dodge/roll. The heavy armor makes it worse but it’s mainly because of being over encumbered. Just have to decide what works best for you. Lately I’ve been max agility max vitality and max encumbered with light armor. Never have a issue

Lmao… I know right. The server was so dead a few days prior that I just went ahead and got one for free from Skrillex (one of the players on that server that always gives out free horses).

Nice video, I noticed you tried heavy armor for the age of war for pretty much the first time. I recommend this: full redeemed legion armor and arena champion boots (arena champion boots are anti cripple). For the redeemed helmet, redeemed chest piece and redeemed leggings you wanna put on weight reduction kits, then for the gloves and boots either the advanced flexibility kit or master armor fitting. The arena champion boots are gonna save your life many times and it only requires 10 armor scraps which in my opinion is pretty cheap and 100% worth it. If you do follow all these steps you can have a pike, great axe and heals and still have under 45% carry capacity.

Thank you for the recommendation. I have been wanting to try this build out for a while now but the cost of everything just didn’t seem worth it if I end up getting ganked by a 5-man clan. The heartbreak would be too much, lmao. I’m hoping that I’ll eventually get to try it if I beat someone who’s using it and I take their loot.

I think my FPS also dropped massively inside the base while fighting and that might have contributed to the slow motion feeling as well. The video doesn’t really capture it that well, but everything was REALLY slow.

There are no god bubbles since Pt.2 in Age of War. Basically it makes your base more vulnerable but you do get to use the Avatars for 10 minutes but have reduced damage monumentally.

Lmaooo! I’m still shocked till this day that I managed to escape tbh. Just a few seconds prior before I jumped out, I had 4 stacks of poison on me… if I had jumped out any earlier, I would have probably fallen to my death cause I wouldn’t have been able to grab on to the walls due to poison.

this is cool, only bats are usually banned, and the type who defended it is a severe pathology, he should eat you like a pet, no anti-poison, no food or drink to regenerate stamina, pathology that the type did not kill the player, which is overloaded, even playing constantly in the arena would it didn't help him.

That "slow motion" feeling is from you being over encumbered while you're fighting. Nice video, thanks for posting. Did you kill him at the end with those arrows, it sounded like you did.

With how close quarters you were fighting both of them inside their base, you really should have started aoe cleaving with your 2handed axe. Would have been near a guarantee hit on one of them most of the time.

I wanted to use the 2H-axe (with poison) badly, but since I had 0 Strength, the damage wasn’t so great. It would be nice if Conan had some Agility 2H-axes for the Agi/Vit/Enc build I use to solo raid. At least we have Agi spears now.

@@Zelosykes that build is the exact build I run as my everyday build. Snag a Baal Pteors 2handed sword and solve that issue with the 2handed axe doing no damage.

You fill your inventory with all of your most precious loot (stuff you need to survive) and go find a place to hide your body where no one is going to find it and kill you while you're offline. You're basically using your body as storage (vault).

Like your vids, but I think your modding your run speed, never saw a character move that fast on conan. I've owned a few servers, only way to run that fast on console is is to have your own server, then use keyboard admin commands to boost your run speed.

Hi John, this episode was recorded on an official PvP Server. There’s no way to access the Admin panel and modify your running speed. I’m not exactly sure which part you’re referring to, but it’s all normal running speed.

My pc will run conan until I try to run, and then it gets glitchy, but through a pc the graphics are amazing, wish mine would play it.
