I still think the mod was better than standalone but man gettin back on DayZ brings back some nostalgia. Its so intense. At any point your life could be ended and I love friendly encounters. Thanks for the upload, love your channel! Edit. Very “Last of Us” vibes with your music, I cannot wait for your new videos when they drop. I love your videos bc they make me think of the few times (like tonight) that I’ve managed a 3v1 squad wipe when I’ve been playing solo and realize that you do that all the time. And you make it look easy. I’m a lowly PS4 console player and tonight I managed to wipe an entire 3-man squad at Myshkino tents. They ambushed me and somehow I prevailed. Quite a few too many beers in I decided to log on and play a little bit. I was lucky, tanked a few rounds before locating the shooters, used the AK to unload and wipe em out, somehow managed to flank the third and get lucky to get him too. Only damage was that I almost ruined my plate carrier and helmet, but otherwise held on and stayed alive. Moments like this are why I will never stop playing this game. DayZ is such an awesome game. Shoutout to how hard it is to master this insanely difficult game, on stream, making it look easy. You are a total pro dude.

There was nothing preventing the both of you from shooting each other in the back. I'm relatively new to this game and the trust factor in this game is awesome. Because it's so fragile. I just love it that the mechanics of the game encourage making friends, but in a way that keeps the trust on a knife edge. The more you play alongside a new ally the more your trust develops. A very well crafted game. I hope you managed to find Stephan later on in the real world and share your experience. Great video dude, you got us emotionally invested and it was awesome!

The thing I like about this game that Rust does not have is that death really means something. I just bought DayZ on Jan 24, 2023 as a result of seeing it on sale for the Lunar New Year. I have played Tarkov and Rust in the past so I was already used to not trusting anybody I encounter as I traveled. I don't really understand the crafting mechanics in DayZ so figured i'd check out KZbin to see if there were any guides. I had watched a couple DayZ video prior to this but decided to get side-tracked and click on this video. As a player that has only 3.5 hours into DayZ, I have to say.....Thank You. This video is a masterpiece. The way this video was able to suck me in and divert the world's problems away from me for an hour left me speechless. Stephen added a whole aspect to the video I didn't expect to see after having played Rust/Tarkov for years. It shows this community can have heart to heart interactions and true friendships form as a result. As soon as you found out Stephen had been shot, my heart sank. It was a rush of emotions that I was not prepared for. I hope you continue to produce content such as this one because you've gained a new subscriber. Thank you Sour.
