Haelena didn't WANT to get rid of her son, she didn't have a choice she had to give them an answer or they would have killed them all, and she felt that they wouldn't have settled for less. Besides, she has the gift of prophecy, had anyone payed attention to the hints she dropped, a lot could have been avoided. It really isn't fun to be a parent in this universe so don't judge too soon, the previous season showed us that it's all about grey areas...

The murder of Prince Jaehaerys was even more awful in the book. I'm glad they toned it down for the show. Don't be too hard on Helaena. She knew that if she did not make a choice or if she lied, they would have killed both children and probably her as well. I detest all of the Greens except for Helaena. She has never done anything wrong to anyone.
