Great review! I bought the NEX 5n and loved it so bought the 5r and it’s a fab, cheap camera. Raw photos are really crisp and video capability is excellent as you say. I bought the EVF for photography which wasn’t cheap but works brilliantly in conditions where it’s hard to see the screen and the flip up screen and autofocus has been great for vlogging.

This camera is a good camera, I shot alot of projects with it, I put a cine lens on this bad boy, people didn't think I used this small camera, they thought I used a cinema camera once they saw the footage.

Does your 5R lagg when shutting off? My 5N equipped w/ 16-50m pz lens takes 3-5 secs to de-tract.. But on my 3N closed within milisecs..

@@fireballfireball7573 If you have 500 CDN that's about $350 US, so I'd try to find a Panasonic G7 on eBay. We shot the movie Transit with it and it's 4K.

There's a big problem.this camara has overhead problem when you r recording more than 15 min

yup with an adapter they run way longer anyways there's a 30min limit that a usualy hit anyway lift the screen it's helps a lot
