Dear Stephen, What you are doing here is truly amazing. I believe the loss of story telling is a huge travesty. You have brought to light something so important and are giving us all - returning to us our inheritance. My grandmother was a widow and took in students in order to to survive. They came from the surrounding farms to attend the town school. She also gave shelter to a widow with no family. This woman Michaela was a master story teller and often after dinner would sit by the clay tiled stove surrounded by the students telling amazing stories. This went on in many homes for thousands of years. One day we will understand what a loss we have suffered and what has been stolen from us. Thank you for this gift of the story. I can't tell you how healing this is for me. I am only just discovering your fireside, and settling in beside the others here. May you be blessed. Katherine

Thank you so much for your wonderful sleep stories. My Shih Tzu Remington and I fall asleep listening to them together every night. Once a month, I have to do a bit of traveling for cancer testing and spend 2 nights in a hotel. I bring you with your stories with me and listen to them. It feels more like home. I've yet to hear a whole story because I fall asleep before it ends.

I fell asleep listening as usual but when I woke up early this morning I listened to the whole story because I have always had the softest spot in my heart for children who have lost their parents. I had a good friend who was the best and most patient mother to her two young children, Tiffany and Jeremy. Sadly, she died of breast cancer at 34. My heart was broken for those sweet children. They still had their father who remarried but they missed out on a lifetime of love from their wonderful mother. I love all your stories but I think this was the sweetest and most touching of all. Thank you for your kind heart and how much you help all of us here. You are truly a gem. 💎 😮🙏❤️🙏

@@katedefelice4615I can’t imagine how hard that is. I was 50 when my 2nd parent passed and I was surprised how much I felt like I was then orphaned. I think not having parents as a child is one of the greatest losses there are.

Stephen, you have helped me for an entire year. I started listening back last October when my grandmother fell very sick. I struggled falling asleep and needed something to help me calm my mind. I found your sleep stories and immediately started getting better quality sleep, as well as having an over all better life experience due to the meditation and relaxation I receive. My grandmother passed away last November, so you also helped me through my grieving. She was like a mother to me and a huge part of who I am today. Thank you for always being a constant comfort in my nighttime routine. You are wonderful.

I don't have your imagination but I love leprechauns and since I have an Irish ancestry, I would love to go to sleep listening to a story, maybe a series, about leprechauns who bring magic to our lives..

It’s nearly 1a here in Northern California. I have been in non stop serious chronic pain for over 20 years and the last 9 without any pain management from Kaiser. It’s a terrifying hell. The only break is to be asleep. Too much pain to sleep. Exhausted. I hope you can help me and many others who suffer. Thank you. I have a husband who suffers with Parkinson’s and heart issues and I am trying to hold on until he dies. It’s so hard. I know I’m not alone. I have faith in God and that helps but night is the hardest time. Thank you

Hello Stephen, I’m writing from Nova Scotia, Canada! I discovered your stories almost a year ago and play one every single night to be able to fall asleep, switching from using an app on my phone. I love the relaxing countdown at the start, truth be told, 99% of the time I’m asleep before your stories ever start! So, thank you for the soothing and relaxing countdowns! 😊

I’d love to hear some Sleepytime stories inspired by Harry Potter, particularly featuring characters played by actors who are no longer with us. Maybe exploring untold tales of Hagrid, Dumbledore, or Professor McGonagle, as they journey through the wizard world, encountering new creatures, what they do after teaching lessons, or sharing quiet moments of wisdom. These stories would be such a comforting way to honor the magic they brought to our lives. Thank you for all that you do and helping me to get restfull nights of sleep.

This is a new favourite story, it is beautiful and so comforting. I have listened to this a few times over the last day as I've been unwell in bed most of the time. My cat is called Jacob too which is very cute and he is snuggled next to me keeping me company. Thank you so much for this one 😊

I am a person that has nightmares and so sleep is fleeting for me. Your voice is so calming to me that I’m able to sleep restfully. Thank you so much for this. The relaxation stage usually puts me to sleep but I wake up most times and listen to the rest while I doze off. Thank you for the reassuring comment on safety. It would be terrible to have the story turn scary once I'm mostly asleep. It was nice to hear you say that your voice will never take me anywhere thats not safe. Thank you for these stories.

My Son, Bryan has autism we have a husky named Everest. He is obsessed with huskies. He has been having a lot of behavior and anxiety issues lately since he is going to a new school now. Would you make a sleep story about huskies for him? Also, I know you do sleep stories, but sometimes I play your stories as a brain break for the students I teach could you do a mid day brain break story for them? I’m sure they would love it!
