You are so good at conveying the meaning of Spanish words through actions or emphasis while you speak, and it is soooo helpful! You also speak slowly and clearly, so I can learn new words while recognizing words I already know. Your videos make such a difference and I appreciate all of your work! Thank you!

Nice! I'm glad to hear it's helpful!! 😊 I think the visual element is super important and it adds a fun factor! So it's all advantages! hahaha It's so cool to hear that they make a difference!! 💛

Lucy Thompson: Absolutely agree. Laura has a real talent for this and her emphases and expressions really help. She is pretty humorous as well. I enjoy her videos a lot and they do help with understanding. I keep the Spanish subtitles on so I can see the words in the event I have to look something up. But, she is very entertaining. Glad she posts them.

This channel is quickly becoming my favorite. I've gone from being skeptical to being a firm convert to the concept of comprehensible input as a method to acquire language and that is largely due to this channel. I actually had originally found another channel offering that method of video however I found the presentation a bit irritating whereas the presentation in this channel is almost addictive. For me, there are two important parts that will make this most beneficial and they are both displayed in this video. First is the method of showing the viewer what is happening as you are talking....and talking in a simple manner so that the foundation of language can be acquired but also doing things which the viewer might commonly do in their day to day life. Making a snack during the day is something that we, likely, all do almost every day. So its really easy to "connect" with this video and even think about it again later when we are making ourselves a snack. Videos like this one, utilizing very common daily events to teach language as comprehensible input are far more helpful that some might realize. I believe it creates and understanding of communication in the target language that is very easily grasped and maintained in long term memory because it is something we can review in our own minds during our daily lives....thus the automatic repetition without having to actually be actively studying. Most of us will review this video in our minds as we make ourselves a snack. Well done!!!!!!

Amazing. I love your style of teaching. This is the best I've seen on KZbin. Hands down. My listening comprehension has been the most challenging part of learning the Spanish language. With this kind of teaching, I am confident I am on my way towards comprehensive fluency! Keep doing what you're doing!

You're tan funny... I used to make crisp rolls all the time when young... Cheese is good in there too. Thank you for making Spanish very fun and real. You have demonstrated very well that every task no matter how basic can be very good for teaching a language. It is all about describing every detail... You are very good at what you do. Gracias hermosa.
