Garang was killed in a bomb rigged plane by the CIA or Mossad because he preferred the autonomy/self governance of South Sudan rather than partition. Garang knew that partition would destroy the economies of both north & south, which is exactly what the western imperialists & Israel wanted to do. They also tried to split Angola into north & south for nearly 30 years by arming & supporting a rebel leader named Jonas Savimbi, but failed.
