[edit:] This is interesting to me because the bible portrays Satan as "the scarlet red Dragon". And the "beast of the sea" (revelation 13:13-18) has "seven heads" and "ten horns" in Revelation 13:1 just as some Squids have ten appendages; seven of them being actively used as "arms", while the ninth and the tenth are tentacles laced with razorsharp hooks (horns). Fittingly the Squid also has a remarkably unique capacity to see things sharply; even in unsuitable enviroments with little light and from almost any angle. Genesis 3:1 details "now the Serpent was more "crafty"" than every other being in the garden: But the word crafty (arum) can also mean to have a heightened awareness or be "wary" of what others think or are planning: A perfect description for a large Cephalopod's ability and need to spot approaching wales, or any adversary that might arise. ---------------------------------------- The "squid" and "beast of the sea" in the bible is also a "sea-creature": as it comes from the "greater waters" (sha-mayim) aka space - and will provoke many to accept his sign (revelation 13:13-18).

I think your kind of warning may fall on deaf ears. Theology has its place but first they should know who God is and why it’s important to trust Him.

@@saturn722 Thank you for the heads up. I just tried to share my [rather longwinded] perspective regarding the squid and the connections I saw because it is a fascinating animal and often connected to occultism. I guess I came across as more preachy than i wanted to.

Could self assembly be achieved with dodecahedron or more sided cells that were more or less magnetic with the most magnetic in the middle? But how to create multiple magnetic fields crossing like an asterisk? Just musing...hopefully amusing?
@johnnyswatts5 жыл бұрын
Rivergrrrl, interesting idea, but the thing about magnetic fields is that the field lines always close back in on themselves. This means whatever magnetic particles you're using for the self-assembly will just form short loops between the faces of the polyhedron. Real biomolecules use a combination of shape (like legos only more specific in that the wrong piece won't fit) and electrical charge (to make them stick). They can even change shape when interacting with each other to make other interactions possible. It's pretty fascinating stuff.
@rivergrrrl12565 жыл бұрын
@@johnnyswatts Obviously I'm in way over my head but isn't an electric charge related to magnetism? The shapes could include non- conducting walls so more than 1 negative and positive could connect automatically. Or more easily just form in a shaped spiral with more magnetism in the center but that doesn't solve the 3D automatic connection problem. It would end up cylindrical not orbal(?) because it would stack north south north south alternatly unless shaped to fit like you said.
@johnnyswatts5 жыл бұрын
@@rivergrrrl1256, indeed, the magnetic force is related to the electrical force, but the magnetic force requires acceleration of electrical charges. It's much easier to just use the valences of atoms and the shapes of molecules to distribute electrons around molecules. Keep thinking creatively!

4:45 it changes until it works. :D Before that, she kept using words like design and made, which personified evolution. I always avoid that because creationists then wonder "who designed it?" or "if it was made so well, someone had to do it." :/

That’s because logical people with common sense and an open mind can clearly understand that there is a mind behind it all. Today we live in a world full of deception unlike any other time in our past. Some of us are oblivious to the deceit. Many don’t even care. The biggest target is the children and those that are being educated in our higher learning institutions. Yes, it’s a conspiracy. The oldest of all humanity. Good vs Evil. And it’s coming to a head!

I'll simplify this for you as much as I can. Highly conserved variants of one gene, PAX6, is involved eye development in every living creature we know of, despite the huge variety of anatomical structures used by different groups of animals. Almost like there is a common ancestor from which all animals derive their genetics and therefore body plans from... huh. ~800 million years is a long time to work out the kinks, don't you think?
