@@gforce809 not only is there a strong rivalry between these cities, also nation-wide the Dutch are tired of only being associated with Amsterdam when people from abroad hear Holland/The Netherlands. There's much more to this country than Amsterdam and the attitude ("we're the best") and culture in Amsterdam is quite different from the rest of the country and not very popular.
