A Stock Market Crash Like No Other Is Coming In May As Major Threats Pile On

Be skeptical of the U.S. stock market's recent rebound - there's more downside ahead, and plenty of evidence to back it up. The sound of alarm bells is becoming harder to ignore. With the economy slowing amid softening consumer activity, rising unemployment numbers, and spiking delinquency rates, big name stocks that have been propping up the market during latest rally are starting to lose momentum. Worse, they're already losing billions in market capitalization, and poised for an even bigger crash by mid-May, according to several renowned market strategists. JPMorgan says this is just the start of a much deeper sell-off that will put an end to this bull run. New data shows that the perfect setup for investor panic is here, and it's going to be ugly!
Over the past seven days, financial markets posted mixed results, especially after the Fed meeting on Wednesday. The U.S. stock market has finished the first quarter of 2024 on an astonishing tear, with the benchmark S&P 500 rising in 18 out of the 22 preceding 22 weeks. But that's no longer the case - the index has fallen over each of the past three.
After hinting that a rate cut would be near in March, the Federal Reserve signaled last week that investors shouldn't expect a reversal in policy any time soon, which led major indexes to report significant intraday losses.
On Tuesday, members of the central bank’s policy committee voted unanimously to keep the crucial fed funds rate in its current range of 5.25% to 5.50%. Officials held the rate at its highest since 2001 to fight inflation that’s run too high for comfort in the first few months of 2024.
“In recent months, there has been a lack of further progress toward the Committee's 2% inflation objective,” the Federal Open Market Committee said in a new statement, adding language that was absent from the statement the group made when it previously met in March.

No brainer. Semiconductor and AI stocks will dominate 2024. Why I prefer NVIDIA is that they are better placed to maintain long term growth potential, and provide a platform for other AI companies. I have made more than 200% ROI from NVIDIA with the assistance of my fa, I won’t fail to mention. I agree the stock would go higher in the next couple of days.

I bought NVIDIA around September last year because my financial-planner recommended it to me…said the company is selling shovels in a gold rush. It accounted for almost 80% of my market return this year.

That's a great analogy and I love the insight. Professionals could make a really big difference in investing, and I think everyone should have one. There are aspects of market trend that is difficult for the untrained eyes to see. I have made more than 350% through semiconductor stocks under coach by alternative investing. The portfolio comes with perks as well in terms of travel and liquidity.

Buying a stock is easy, but buying the right stock without a time-tested strategy is incredibly hard. Hence what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist? It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.

The stock may be at risk for a crash, like you said, but I feel like the economy is in the verge of recovery. I mean, with the inflation figures that have been released recently, it's an upward trend. This is true. Inflation is down, so there really is an opportunity for growth of the market in general. But it's important to double-check, because some companies are not doing well currently in revenue terms. So you might need an advisor who knows how to bundle company stocks with distributed risk.

If you put $250 a month into QQQ an investment that delivered an annualized return of 13% over the long haul, in 30 years your investment would be worth nearly $1.1 million. Don't let fearmongering stop you from becoming a millionaire. That's only $90,000 of your money that you used to turn it into a million dollars.

The United States Congress passed a law in the late 1970s demanding, requiring full employment at low inflation. The law tasked the Federal Reserve with making that happen. I call it a law against recessions for convenience. The problem is that if one tries to maintain a perfect economy forever, it will result in the stock market becoming repeatedly overvalued over the course of time. And the overvaluation will at least help eventually result in downturns. That is part of the reason why the Federal Reserve has not been able to completely avoid recessions along the way so far. And the stock market is very overvalued currently. That is completely inevitable with the Federal Reserve pushing harder than ever to try to keep the economy going forever. The end result will, at least ultimately, be that the stock market comes down hard and takes the economy down with it. In other words, due to the nature of how reality actually works, it is impossible to enforce a law against recessions forever. The longer one tries to do it, the more extreme things will get. And the bigger the problem(s) will be in the end because of it. Very wealthy people know this, see what is coming, and are protecting their money accordingly. Noting that the United States national debt is also, in current times, in the process of going exponential on a very large degree of scale. Which will just help contribute to the ultimate downturn.

In my opinion, AI isn't a buble, here is why I think that. we re entering in to a 4rth Industrial revolution. as like the past industrial revolutions Cars replaced horses, machines replaced lumors, and so forth. Now, we are replacing people with machines. this is not to say that AI will not be with out faults as people do as they have done in past industrial revolutions to sabatague machines . I also see that AI becomes so relevant, there will be so many off chutes the market will not be able to contain them. sorta like the e-bikes scenereos , there are more ebikes manufactured and sold then ICE and Electric cars combined. and thier sales are going to increase. there are so many e-bikes manufacured you get some really weird brand namings. I think that AI is goingthe same way. As of now, AI has been down loadied in to our devices, the galaxy S-24 has it all baked in, including a chip. my old S 20-Ultra fails in many areas. my S-23 s-24, and tablet all have an increased end of Life. I thinkwe will be siing devices becoming tiny computers and the tablet 9+ shows that and then you have the 15 inch tablet..which is the size of a 15 inch momitor, which in essence, is a small computer. when you get a tablet that has a desktop on it, and people start seeing that, and start saying no to how tablets should appear, then we will see even more advnacments in the technologies we have. So, I agree to dissagree withthe AI. You are a very wise man. I don't think you have covered the 4rth industrail revolution. this coming crash is well planned.

Maybe it goes sideways or down in summer, but it peaks only in June-July, and before that it pumps like crazy in May. Next few months will be euphoric, forget about deeper corrections. Stock market is already oversold, put/call ratio near extreme levels, May is historically bullish for tech stocks (if earnings come out good). Bitcoin will probably chop around here and close month negatively (first time in 8 months), then to the moon! And even if there is a larger correction in the future, it will happen above previous ATH, that's where BTC.D dumps and altseason kicks in. So the fun is just getting started...It's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Kelvin Hurdle, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.
