New subscriber and retired tool maker here. Fantastic story! This is the channel I was looking for. The world needs more young people like you. Stay with it!

Pretty impressive that your gramps was able to pick up CAD in his later years. Most old timers I've met seem to shut off their brains around age 60.

There is very little tool and die content on youtube. Not a single video about making a tool start to finish. Please make one so we can all learn.

I can definitely do that. Thanks for the feedback.

That and videos about setting up a tool, how the stip feeder works, how you choose which tool goes on which press. Tons of technical content. The videos don't have to be this polished and can be more raw like stephen gotteswinter, robrenz, edge precision and some of the other machining youtubers. Just my 2c.@@ToolanderEngineering

I am not a toolmaker and I will never be one, but I will be making a tool later this year hopefully and I want to learn as much as I can before the attempt. @@ToolanderEngineering
Entire process from scratch to a finished stamped part.
