I am 60+ years old. I studied Russian in 1981. I did not do anything with it for decades. In the past 5 years, I have discovered KZbin and voice chat over the internet. Of all the Russian channels, I love your channel the best. You provide accurate English and Russian subtitles. So often, the auto generated ones are lacking accuracy. I mostly watch your videos with the Russian subtitles on so that I can read and hear the words at the same time. Your added explanations or definitions keep the flow going without me having to stop and stick my nose into a dictionary. I realize you are intentionally speaking a little slower than normal, and take great pains to ensure you pronounce everything clearly. Bravo to you and your family. I share your channel with whomever I can.

I studied Russian at university in Wellington in 1993 just when the coup on Gorbachev was happening, so exciting, I got my major in Russian and didn't do anything with it for 17yrs, then slowly, bit by bit started over my old books (groan) don't speak it very well understand the audio even less but can read Russian somewhat better. I look upon it as a lifetime of learning!!!! I really enjoy Russian politics and culture, I have a fear of flying, otherwise I would be traveling all over yhe Russian Federation In a wink of an eye😉

Google translate says маленькая марковка but we guessed it would be марковник. this is a question for your grocery store video but I will ask it here anyway.
