A Story in Three Parts

What is the book of Mark about? As R.T. France says, it is "a drama in three acts." Act 1 is all about Jesus' identity: who is he? Act 2 is about recalibration: what does following Jesus look like? Act 3 is about mission: what has Jesus come to do? These questions are not academic and esoteric, but are rather meant to challenge us and make us think about how we regard Jesus.
