Looked like a Series 2 or 2a..... Did you mention Series 3... Nice video, nice Landies, nice people... ( not talking about the "others" in the background 😂😂😂 Lekker meeting... Sadly, nobody in RSA organised a 75th birthday party for LR... There were little efforts here and there, but nothing compared to the two LR Festivals we had in Vereeniging.... That was magic... 1007 Landies in convoy, with about another 150 in the campsite not in the convoy.... Thanks, this was fun....

Only in a Series Land Rover, it's simply a way of life.

This was great fun to watch. Series Land Rovers are not plentiful here in the US, and Rare in California. I do however think of my 2018 JKU Jeep Wrangler as a modern incarnation of what a series LR would be if they were still being built. I am looking for a Series, but every time I find something interesting, my wife starts making disturbing noises! Lol Love your channel!👌👍

@@mattluszczak8095 Lol! I have since found a 1966 S2A, 80 miles from my home still being used on a cattle ranch daily. If interested , it was shown on a KZbin channel. LandyAndy4X4. Episode Castle Air Museum part2, towards the end of the video. That was filmed last November shortly after I bought it. Cheers👍

The spare on the bonnett was an unnecessary extra weight over the front axle . Only encouraging a diff burst. Also obscured the line of sight. Spare was always best adding a weight over the rear axle .that many hung on thier tailgate. Walking the course infront of you gives you foresight of when momentum is required .
