I had an 86 CGT CES, former auto/ five speed, lowered struts, loved it, fun to drive. Beware as they are nose heavy!!! Counter steer accordingly. They were a nice four seat sporty experience. Built like a tank!

Did 81s have a mono wiper ?? My 83 doesn't, but my 79 scirocco does

I took the left wiper off and installed the mandatory master kill switch then reengineered the linkage to make a mono -center mount wiper! It looks sad if it came that way!
