It’s an old story with a new twist ending. I love it :)

As is often the case with these short stories, they end while there is still much to be told, and this one falls into that category. It's a shame because this was a very interesting story that ended without a proper ending.

I’m with you on this. Only the brother went to jail. They still need to deal with the parents AND the ex wife. Just the ex wife is another story. Still a good story regardless.

Not helping them is the right move. His family is toxic, the brother talking down to him while trying to get him help them is delusional.

So True. People don't want to be responsible for their actions. They want somebody to hold their hand.

I was going to say, why would he be paying alimony to his ex when she got remarried 😂

OP letting them back into his life was the second sin.
@RobouteGuilliman-M412 ай бұрын
No, his first mistake was answering his brother, and not blocking him the instant he made contact. If the slag would've had the nerve to call me, I'd block her number. I'd also file a restraining order on them, and file to stop alimony payments, and demand a refund.
@BettyFerrell-m2j2 ай бұрын
Why he didn’t file a restraining order immediately boggles my mind. He also should have immediately blocked all their numbers, his stupid parents, pathetic brother, and 304 ex wife. Also since she remarried his pathetic brother he was no longer liable for alimony.

OP created his own drama here. First, when you decide it necessary to cut ties with your family, CUT TIES! Odds would probably be in your favor that OP would not have divorced in the first place had he not allowed them back. Second, never post your promotions/successes on any social media. Your family is not the only ones who will expect you to give a hand out. Keep your finances to yourself. Third, due to the hostile environment after the alimony was removed, a TRO/OOP is in order.

My I replace your 1st and add 2 more in chronological order? 2nd - you've gathered evidence save it store it, give it only to your lawyer tell NO ONE 3rd - NEVER confront the cheater, let them know in court. Make sure you use the evidence And then your 3 ones lol Also I think guys like this are total morons, he allowed her to create the narrative about his because he wanted to be all moral and confront her Edit for corrected chronology

this video was really well done and I appreciate the storytelling. it’s fascinating to see how people can overcome such challenges. however, I can’t help but wonder if the wife's actions were justified given her circumstances. it feels a bit complicated to me, and I'm curious what others think about whether she deserves a second chance.

My parents actually supported my ex wife against me. They even tried to bill me for the money they gave her and AP. As a result I moved 2,500 miles away and ghosted them. Eventually they came to their senses and I forgave them. I later filleted my ex in court and stripped her of all parental rights.

i really enjoyed the heartfelt storytelling in this video, it’s beautifully done. however, i can’t help but feel that the guy should've moved on sooner instead of dragging things out. i mean, it’s admirable to want to fix things, but sometimes you just gotta prioritize your own happiness, right? it makes me wonder if he should've taken the lessons learned and started fresh instead. what do you all think?

really enjoyed this video, it was thought-provoking and well-produced. however, i can't help but feel that the portrayal of the wife was a bit one-sided. it's easy to condemn her actions, but don't you think there's more to the story? everyone makes mistakes, and maybe understanding her perspective could add more depth to the narrative. just my two cents!

This sounds like a Reddit story. A couple points, STOP posting your life on fricken FB, keep your private life private. All you wingnuts who feel the need to tell the world about your goings-on deserve no sympathy when it all goes south. Stop being a simp, why would you not defend yourself in court. Speaking of defending yourself you need to .... Never mind, its not in you.
