I know this has definitely been done already, but here's a summary of these three jackasses' motivations. 1. Mondego wants to marry his cousin who's already in love with Dantes. And the only reason she married him was because she believed the love of her life was dead and she didn't have any other options. He's basically the rebound. 2. Donglars is bitter and jealous because this young sailor is being promoted to captain over an experienced sailor like himself even though he literally did nothing to deserve it and it was Dantes who got their ship out of a tight spot when their own captain was incapacitated. He's basically a whiny little diva who didn't get the lead part in the school musical. 3. Villefort wants to save his father, the true supporter of Napoleon, from prison and possibly worse, and also because convicting a traitor is a great way to get a sweet promotion he's been eyeing in the legal world. A little bit more honorable, but also f@cked up.

ALL OF THE MOVEMENTS ARE INSANE?? One of my favourite shots honestly was in the very beginning of them walking up the stairs, it was so cool and honestly kinda clued me in on the people. The designs are gorgeous?? I love them so much. I like how unique every one is! They all have different shapes and silhouettes and it was easy to tell them all apart! The bits added where its close-ups on the characters faces, and the angles in which we viewed them?? So, so tasty. 10/10 will watch again. And will also bully my sister into watching it because I know she would love it too :D

Your characters oozes charisma that others have pointed is scene where they just plot their scheme by drinking around a table. I've never heard of this musical and have barely heard of the original version but good GLORY this is stunning. The way you portray movement is so dynamic and I constantly found myself impressed by how quickly everything moves--you managed to stay on beat with a VERY quick song and it makes the whole animatic extremely engaging to watch. This is one of my new favorite animatics, not because it draws a familiar song or characters but because of the sheer skill and artistry demonstrated. Fantastic job!

Holy! man this is really satisfying to behold. Ever since I rediscovered the count of monte cristo songs (ink potts the reason 100%) I've listened to them a ton. When they come up sometimes I have to stop whatever I was doing and just soak up the song. Reading the book, the huge concrete block that it is, has only made me appreciate the story and the songs and ink potts' animatics even more. Then this amazing animatic shows up in my watch next?!! Glorious. Characters good! Flow good! I kept track of movements all well. I like how much they were moving around , traveling up the stairs and around the room, good motion.
