i feel that way too but.. why? i wonder too much what scientifically “causes” homosexuality, like why are some so disgusted by it and some feel and like it? As soon as Jimmo began to narrate this story I was instantly drawn in. I haven’t listened so intently to anyone else like this and I am told multiple stories a day by multiple people, but this story made me smile so many times and made me giggle and happy. It also made me sad but only for a moment. I’m used to listening to True Crime stories that are ultimately terrifying, this has been a wonderful welcome change and I don’t think it would have had this much of an impact on me had anyone other than Jimmo read it…. Sexuality is fluid. Love is about connection. It is not a crazy thing to believe that a man, one who considered himself straight for his entire adult life, can develop such strong love for another guy that it flips his understanding of the labels and allows him to just love. Our society has put too much emphasis on the sexual part and completely forgetting the emotional part. This makes me happy for them.

I can relate being s3xu@lly abused. My uncle molested me when I was 6. He told me if I ever told anyone, he would kill me and my family. I blocked it out. I have little or no recollection of being 6. Fast forward to 32 years old. I was having severe anger issues. It scared me. I went to get help. 2 times a week for a year, and at $150.00 for a 45 minute session. Thru the sessions, I started to remember what happened to me when I was 6. A flood of tears came out, and I know I must have cried what seemed like hours. I was no longer angry. This uncle died, so I no longer had to worry about him following through on his threat. I was also assaulted by a 45 year old man when I was 18. I live a very successful and happy life. Charles and Jeff have a beautiful relationship. Trust is so important. Holding things in is costly to your mental and physical health.
